Welcome Amy Zyck!
Amy will be starting as a PhD student at URI in Fall of 2018. She’s currently finishing her B.S. in Marine Science at the University of South Carolina, working with Dr. Jerry Hilbish on mussel recruitment in southwest England. Amy was also a NOAA Hollings Scholar, and worked with Dr. Christopher Chambers at the Northeast Fisheries Science Center on understanding the coupled effects of CO2 and dissolved oxygen on the early life stages of Atlantic silverside. Amy is interested in the effects of multiple stressors on eastern oyster larvae. Find out more about Amy and her research on her lab profile.
